How we selected these communities
We limited this guide to communities described in our own fact sheet, where the developer's own materials describe a forest, park or lagoon as a central feature, not a secondary amenity. For each one we checked the projects from the Orven selection that sit inside it and the unit types on offer. None of the four is presented as greener or better than the others; they build the landscape into the plan in different ways.

The four settings, one by one
Sobha Sanctuary is built around roughly half open and green space, a large central park, a cycling network and a lagoon, with The Woods Abode sitting as an apartment enclave between two of the masterplan's parks and The Grove offering independent estate villas with private gardens and waterways elsewhere in the same plan. At Meydan Horizon, Everly Place sits directly on the lagoon side, with a lagoon-facing infinity pool among its amenities, alongside Sanctuary Residences and The Waterway in the same wider lagoon setting. DAMAC Lagoons takes a different approach with Mediterranean-inspired architecture around its lagoon views, through Lagoon Views specifically. Bay Estate's Verda district is organised around parks rather than a lagoon, as one of three districts within the wider Bay Estate community on Dubai Islands, alongside Cala by the water and Agora around shared clubs.

A buyer who wants a large central park, cycling routes and a forest-style masterplan looks at Sobha Sanctuary, choosing between The Woods Abode's apartments and The Grove's larger villas depending on budget and format. A buyer drawn to water views from an apartment, without needing a villa, looks at Meydan Horizon's lagoon-facing projects or DAMAC Lagoons' Lagoon Views. A buyer who wants a villa or townhouse within a parks-first community looks at Bay Estate's Verda district. None of these four is positioned as a better long-term choice; they differ in unit format and in how the landscape is built into daily life.
What is still on request
Payment plans and delivery dates are not published for The Grove, Everly Place, The Waterway or Lagoon Views. Buying remotely, step by step
Every step in the Orven collection can be completed from abroad: reservation, payment into the escrow account controlled by the Dubai Land Department, and registration. Off-plan reservations go through Oqood registration at fixed fees confirmed in your contract, rather than the 4% Dubai Land Department fee that applies to a completed resale. On The Woods Abode's AED 1.00 million starting price, that resale-style fee would represent roughly AED 40,000, a figure useful only as a point of reference since an off-plan reservation is charged differently. None of the other three settings in this guide has a published starting price yet, so your adviser confirms the exact figure once pricing is available.
