Terra Woods is a residential development within Expo Living, Emaar's community in Dubai South, close to Expo City. The collection includes both apartments and townhouses, which gives buyers a choice between a lower-maintenance unit and a home with its own outdoor space, under the same masterplan.

Because Expo Living is a newer community built around the legacy of Expo City, its retail, schools and transport links are still being built out in phases. Price and payment plan

Emaar has not published a fixed starting price or payment schedule for Terra Woods that Orven can print here. Send your budget, typology and bedroom count; your adviser replies with the current price list and the exact instalment schedule for matching units, from the sales documents in force on the day you ask. Never pay a booking amount against a schedule you have not seen in writing.

Every off-plan payment goes to an escrow account opened for the project with a UAE bank, controlled by the Dubai Land Department, and the developer draws on it as construction milestones are certified. You can check the project's registration through the DLD's Project Status Enquiry service.

On top of the price, budget the Dubai Land Department registration fee of 4%, the fixed Oqood registration fee for an off-plan sale, and the developer's administrative charges. Bank financing for part of the price is possible for some non-residents, always subject to the lender's approval.

An investor in Lagos or London looking for an entry-level apartment in a community still forming, where prices at this stage of a masterplan's build-out are often the closest to the developer's opening price list for the area.

A family in Toronto weighing a townhouse against an apartment for more indoor and outdoor space, particularly if they plan to use the courtyards and play area rather than rent the home out immediately.

Rental income and capital gains are not taxed for individuals in the UAE, though your country of residence may tax them. Check with your own adviser before treating any projection as a certainty. 3. You sign the booking form and the sales agreement electronically, with a copy of your passport.
4. The booking payment goes by bank transfer to the project's escrow account, with the proof of source of funds your bank requires.
5. The developer registers the sale with the DLD, and we follow the construction milestones with you until the title deed is issued in your name.
